Documentary Series on Piles
Introducing the Piles Fashion Show, a unique project that showcases the creativity and innovation of three San Francisco-based artists. Over the course of a year, designer Joey Ehren collaborated with fashion photographers and event curators Liz Cahill and Paul Regiano to create runway looks using fabric sourced from the streets of San Francisco. The material was then repurposed into wearable fashion, resulting in a one-of-a-kind collection that celebrates sustainability and style.
The Piles project aimed to raise awareness about the negative impact of fast fashion and the importance of sustainable fashion practices. The project showcased the creative use of upcycling and unconventional material sourcing to create unique and eco-friendly fashion pieces.
